Rahul Dravid insists India are eager to renew their battle with England, and in particular spinner Monty Panesar.

The Northamptonshire left-armer announced his arrival in international cricket by picking up Sachin Tendulkar as his first Test wicket, as well as adding Mohammad Kaif and Rahul Dravid to his debut haul.

Panesar has gone on to establish himself as one of the world cricket's best bowlers since then, taking 65 wickets in 17 Tests so far.

As India head to Lord's for the first Test on Thursday, Dravid cannot wait to test himself against the maturing England ace again.

"He's a threat as much as anybody," Dravid said. "He's been bowling very well and had a lot of success over the last year.

"He has improved since his first tour of India but we look forward to the challenge of playing him over the summer, it should be a good challenge for Monty and ourselves."

Tendulkar, Dravid, VVS Laxman and Sourav Ganguly are all entering the twilight of their careers, but 35-year-old Dravid is adamant his team will be focused on the job at hand.

"We're really not too concerned about whether it's the final tour or not. There is no additional pressure on us," Dravid added.

"Every time you play for your country there's pressure and responsibility that comes with it. I'm not looking too much into the future, just the next three Test matches
