Munni Badnam Hui - DabanggSome feel he's getting overambitious, some say he runs the risk of miffing many...but producer and soon to be director Arbaaz Khan cares little.

Dabangg producer has already announced the sequel to the blockbuster and is now leaving no stone unturned to make it an even bigger success than the original. While he has already planned to base the film from the village in UP to the urban Mumbai, Arbaaz is also working hard on repeating the Munni Badnaam Hui magic.

A source reveals, "The popularity of Munni worked wonders for Dabangg and Arbaaz wants to recreate the same magic with the item song in Dabangg 2. He has roped in not one but five music composers to come up with their individual numbers. He will then hear all their versions and choose the best."

We also hear that since the sequel will be set in Mumbai, the item number will have an urbane beat to it as opposed to the raunchy village setting in Munni.

Now, only time will tell if Arbaaz is able to out do the success of Munni.

Well, yes. Finally you can have that dinner date with SRK. But hey, you will have to pay for it.
A little birdie tells me that SRK who is currently shooting for Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan in San Francisco is generating quite a lot of money by having dinner with his fans in the posh hotel he is staying.
Apparently, the hotel management after realising SRK’s superstardom have offered their terms of agreement for holding charity dinners at the hotel.
Any fan who wants to have dinner with SRK present in the hall has to pre-book a table. Any fan who wants his picture taken with Khan has to pay an additional $250. And to sit on the same table with the star, one has to pay a little more. Whew!
And I hear, it’s all for a good cause! The money that has been generated from the dinner wiil be donated to a charity.
Now, everybody talks about Salman Khan’s generosity. Looks like SRK finally decided to give him some competition. Me however thinks, Shah Rukh has gone a bit too far with it. Maybe next time, he’ll stick to this side of the Pacific. (Source: Buzz 18)

South sensation Asin is slowly and steadily marching towards Bollywood. Ever since, she appeared in advertisements and Kamal Hassan’s Dasavatharam, she garnered lots of attention. Filmmakers noticed her efficiency and excellent screen presence and eager to cast her in their films. She has been roped by Vipul Shah for London Dreams starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan in the main character. London Dreams is about individuals, their dreams and desires.

Producer Vipul Shah commented, ‘I met Asin a couple of times and I admit I am seriously considering her for my film’. He went on to add, ‘as of today, nothing is final’. Asin had accumulated lots of accolades for her rave performance in Dasavatharam. Currently, she is working with Aamir Khan in Ghajini which is a Tamil remake. The pace in which Asin is approaching seems that days are not far when she will push behind leading actresses of Bollywood and create a niche for her which may be firm enough to move. Katrina Kaif has also been signed for the projects.

Glam doll Katrina Kaif will be the Indian face of the new Celebrity Barbie. Aishwarya Rai had reportedly been approached first, but declined due to lack of time.
“Mattel [the toymaker] proposed that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan endorse the Barbie doll, but as her prior commitments stretched her for time, she had to decline,” says a statement issued by Aishwarya’s spokesperson.
Kat is quite happy to lap it up; she endorses Barbie in the iconic doll’s 50th year. “It is so much fun to endorse a Barbie doll,” Katrina says to HT City. “Almost every girl has grown up playing with the doll and so have I, so it feels great. Mysisters would be really happy to know that I am endorsing this brand.”
The diva is delighted to have walked the runway as the showstopper at a special show dedicated to Barbie at the Lakmé Fashion Week in Mumbai. The show, Barbie — All Doll’d Up, was held yesterday afternoon, and had several Indian designers showcasing Barbie-inspired outfits.
This was a competition segment, and Katrina wore the dress created by the winning designer
